Privacy Policy

Effective July 14, 2026

Toolfold processes supported PDF and image operations on your device. We do not require an account and we do not operate a server that receives your documents, photos, signatures, or processed files.

Data collection

Toolfold does not collect personal data, analytics, advertising identifiers, usage events, or diagnostic information through developer-operated services. Favorites, recent tools, local usage ranking, and export history are stored on your device and are not sent to us.

Files and photos

Selected files are copied to app-controlled storage as needed to perform the requested operation. Original files are not modified. Results are exported as new files to a location you choose. Items sent through the Share Extension are placed in a private App Group inbox so the main app can open them.

Signatures

A signature drawn in Toolfold is a visual mark flattened into the exported PDF. Toolfold does not verify identity, issue certificates, create a cryptographic digital signature, or maintain an audit trail.

iCloud and third-party storage

Toolfold does not maintain an iCloud database or synchronize app state. If you choose iCloud Drive or another provider in Apple's Files interface, that provider handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy.

Children

Toolfold does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated policy and effective date will be published on this page.
